Mini Portrait Photography Session

These are some of the pictures from our mini photography sessions at Ti a Fi Glyn Ceiriog!

I had such an amazing time photographing a fun photo session for the families at Ti a Fi playgroup in Glyn Ceiriog, North Wales.

The happy energy and smiles that these little ones brought to the shoot were contagious, and I loved every moment of trying to freeze these perfect moments in time!

We organised some family portrait mini sessions for the kids and grown ups who attend the parent and baby/toddler group and the morning was great fun. It was so nice to see some of the parents and even a grandparent interacting with their little ones through out the shoot and capturing these precious moments together.

We also captured one mum and a fairly newborn baby in the session too and the pictures from it were really adorable.

This mini session was made even better after realising the beautiful newborn in front of the lens, also lives up in the Nantyr hills. That’s where we live with our very own newborn, our little baby girl ‘Heidi’.

They were born only weeks apart and it was great to meet this other little cutie, along with her mum too of course. I am sure one day, she may well be a future play buddy for our own little girl!

It was really nice being able to capture both the joy and innocence of childhood with this lovely group. There’s something very special about being able to capture moments like these and at the same time, create memories that will last a lifetime for the families that booked in with us.

Creating a snapshot of your family right now, but in years to come, it’s a trip back down memory lane, to the feeling of a really special time and when they are super cute too.

As a portrait photographer, I love being able to photograph family photo sessions. The children always bring such positive energy and they make the entire experience a lot of fun, whilst also keeping the grown ups on their toes at the same time.

Whether it’s playing with any props that have been brought along, like Archie and Arlo’s toy digger and tractor sets, or capturing those toothless grins, it’s always very funny and a real pleasure!
