Photography at Llanrhaeadr Waterfall

I was pleased to get the opportunity of photographing the Hughes family in a place really special to them.

This was the spot where Al got down on one knee and proposed to his beautiful wife Hannah.

I believe he was in the flowing waters of the Llanrhaeadr Waterfall (Pistyll Rhaeadr), so I guess you could call it extreme proposing! Anyway she said yes and 3 kids later I had the pleasure of capturing them together as a family in their special place.

Harley took the role of his favourite super hero ‘Spiderman’ he did a few flying tricks, but managed to forget his spider web. Ellie was a little camera shy to start with, but she eventually came around and Cassie was the perfect poser. 

A great spot to visit and take photographs near Llanrhaeadr Ym Mochnant, between Oswestry and Llangollen. It is the highest waterfall in England or Wales and its listed in the seven wonders of Wales. A plus of course, was being with a lovely family to shoot portrait photography.
