I recently had the joy of photographing a lovely baby named Isla. She lives with her mum and dad in their cozy home in Newton Le Willows. There’s something special about capturing a newborn in their own space. It shows their true personality and warmth.
Isla was a dream to photograph. She has bright eyes and an inquisitive gaze that can light up the room. One of the best parts of family portrait photography is seeing the love between parents and their child. Isla’s mum and dad were adorable with her and obviously proud. They filled the space with laughter and sweet moments.
Photographing at home allows for stylish photos that feel real and personal. Unlike a studio, there are unique backgrounds and soft lighting from windows. This setting made the pictures feel warm and inviting. We used their favourite blanket and space, adding a special touch to the images.
Newborn photography is all about patience. Babies can be unpredictable, but Isla was calm and curious. I took my time, moving gently to catch her natural poses. Each little detail, from her tiny fingers and toes to her soft hair, is a treasure.
When we finished the session, we all felt Isla had done a great job. We had created perfect baby photos that Isla’s family can cherish forever. Each picture tells a story of love and connection. These memories will last a lifetime, reminding them of this beautiful time.
Getting the right shot often takes a bit of effort and prompting, but when you see the completed images and the joy in mum and dads eyes, it’s all worth it. I’m grateful for the chance to capture such precious moments. Families grow, but these photos keep those memories close. Thanks Phil and Laura.
